(written at 4 months, pics just now uploaded). Wow, getting bigger! We had the 4 month check up where he got a bunch more shots and handled them like a champ. He is getting taller and taller. He is 13 lbs 3 oz which, quite frankly, is not quite as much as we would like. But, he is a super tall 26 inches and his head is a giant 17 1/2 inches around so I suppose he'll be a very smart basketball player. He may not be breaking the scale, but he sure seems to be getting chubbier and has the fat rolls to prove it.
He is learning new skills everyday. He loves to explore with his hands and is getting much better at grabbing things. He has a few favorite toys- the cube with a bell in it and a twisty bunch of colored tubes which he can manage to get in his mouth and chew on. He also loves the musical catepillar that mormor brought- he loves music. Mormor also liked playing with a toy with TC that played music and projects mickey on the ceiling. He also likes his activity gym and grabbing at the things above him and the butterlfies that are on the exercauser that Gigi and Chuckie got him. But, his favorite things are his hands and feet. He just got to the point where he can put his toes in his mouth the week he turned 4 months. He loves to talk and is always making new sounds although I'm sure that his first real sounds are going to be fart sounds since that's what we are always making at him and what makes him smile. He has great head control and has rolled over back to front once or twice. No one has seen it actually happen, but I've found him on his belly twice when he didn't start out that way. Unfortunately, he isn't too fond of tummy time so he isn't too pleased with his new skill just yet.
Happy 4 months, baby boy!!
