We have spent a lot of time in the snow the past 2 days. Yesterday we went to the mountain with the intention of skiing and doing a kid swap with some friends, but we bailed and went to a snow park instead. Tc had his first taste of snow and it is a hit. This kid loves it. He loves the crunchy noise it makes when he's walking. He loves feeling it. I'm pretty sure he loved his first tobagan ride (with daddy) because he cried when they got off. He liked sliding on his butt with mom.
The ext day we went on a 6 mile snowshoe and tc got to ride in his baby sled. We went about 2 minutes with the cover on and then switched to no cover. He loved it. At first, he was pretty serious, watching all the trees. He got a little fussy a free being dumped out once. But he got over it pretty quick and took a long 2 hour nap while riding through the woods. When we got back to the car, he had a great time walking around in the crunchy snow. Overall, it was a great day with friends enjoying a beautiful day and sharing a pastime that we love with tc.
