This month has been a blast- mostly.
Now that he's sitting, playing has been so much fun. TC loves to sit on his blanket and play with his box of blocks. That is by far his favorite toy right now. He bangs the cover on everything, he drums the box, he chews on the blocks. Other favorite toys are Sophie the giraffe, a cube with a bell, his activity gym (still). Although, anything that gets put in front of him is fun. Other not so great things he plays with that we need to keep away include the tie hanger, paper, plastic wrapping. Those are all fun too but slightly dangerous.
TC is enjoying the dogs. He looks at them and squeals and smiles. Sasha tried to keep Kira from him. Kira will let him do anything to her including pull out fistfuls of hair. Sasha is not as patient, but she loves to very gently lick his toes.
TC is making more and more sounds. He says mama! Sometimes I think he knows that's me. He says it when he's really upset so I don't know if thats a good or bad thing. Hopefully I'm not the cause of the upset. He clicks his tongue, opens and closes his mouth without making any sounds but acting quite proud of himself, spits between his lips, and squeals at anyone who smiles at him at the grocery store. He's quite social, out boy.
He is becoming quite the daredevil. He is throwing himself forward at things but doesn't have the crawling bit figured out, resulting in a few faceplants. The other day, he was sliding off and purposely jumping off the ottoman (Kyle was holding him). He loves to bounce up and down on my lap. He's going to be one crazy boy.
There's been some rough moments this month too. He got 2 teeth, his first cold, became super constipated (he's going to love that I wrote that when he's about 13), and traveled halfway across the country all in one day which resulted in a rough day or two at Mormor's. Once he got some naps in, things smoothed over, but it was kind of tough.
